Think before you march
Win the decision before the battle.
This is asynchronous strategy, not a reflex test. Your advantages come from preparation: the right troops, current scouting, research and a plan for replacing casualties. A forecast gives a range of outcomes, not a promise.
See your first ordersBuild a foothold
Follow your next Frontier order. Production, training and research give your army somewhere to return to.
Read the enemy
Scout before you commit. Exact intelligence unlocks the detailed forecast; compare formations and possible losses.
Bring the survivors home
A victory happens at the target. Troops and carried loot return later. Review the report, then claim your campaign reward.
The liberation campaign
Seven commanders.
Seven different problems.
Each first-victory bounty opens the next encounter. Learn what the enemy fields, develop your base, then choose your own moment to march.

Iron Viper
Col. Anton Varga
Silence the guns blocking the frontier supply corridor.
Plan your first boss
Steel Jackal
Capt. Mara Draxler
Stop the armored column moving through the cleared corridor.

Black Citadel
Brig. Viktor Soren
Break the regional command that coordinates the frontier raids.

Ash Legion
Maj. Ilse Kessel
Break the veteran infantry holding the road to enemy headquarters.

Iron Bastion
Col. Tomas Brandt
Capture the armorworks supplying the high command's heavy formations.

Storm Battery
Maj. Edda Halden
Silence the siege guns protecting the final approach to enemy headquarters.

Obsidian Command
Marshal Helena Thorne
Defeat the high command and complete the liberation campaign.
Finish what you started.
Defeat Obsidian High Command and claim its bounty to complete the campaign. No daily attendance requirement. No purchase gate.
PvE progression, shared-world risks. You never need to attack a player to finish this campaign. Eligible rivals can still raid an unshielded base. Keep defenders home; combat losses are permanent.

Preparation changes the fight
The right formation. Not just more troops.
Infantry, armor and artillery answer different threats. Iron Viper's guns call for an infantry-led force; later bosses change the problem. Scout each encounter instead of reusing one army blindly.

Infantry
Holds the line. Counters artillery.
Armor
Pressures the enemy's infantry.

Artillery
Targets armor. Needs a screen.
From planning to your first march
A field guide for your next move.

How to beat Iron Viper
Unlock the first boss, scout its guns and choose an infantry-led force.

Before you enlist
A few things to know.
Can I finish the campaign without attacking other players?
Yes. Frontier orders, Veteran orders and all seven boss encounters are PvE. You can finish the liberation campaign without launching a PvP attack. Eligible rivals can still declare war and, after 12 hours of warning, raid your unshielded base, so this is not a PvP-free world.
Is the whole PvE campaign free to play?
Yes. Campaign completion has no purchase requirement. Optional purchases have disclosed costs and effects; they do not guarantee a battle victory. You earn materials and War Bonds through campaign rewards.
Do I need to stay online while my army marches?
No. Construction, training, research and marches use server timers that continue while you are away. Survivors and carried loot become available on the return journey's completion, not when the attack arrives.
Can another player take my boss victory?
Boss encounters resolve independently for each commander. Another player's victory does not put your boss on cooldown. Your own victory starts its personal rebuild timer; each first-victory bounty can be claimed once.
Your campaign starts with a foothold.
Build your base, scout the frontier and work toward the first boss.
