Supply convoys: delivery and cargo

Send troops to a green resource field for steel, oil, supplies or credits. They gather without combat; the materials become available only when the convoy returns to your base.

How a supply delivery works

  • Select a green field on the World Map, choose Send supply convoy, an extraction duration and transport troops.
  • Cargo is limited by troop carrying capacity and the field's output during extraction.
  • Travel to the field, extraction and the return journey all take time. Cargo arrives with the troops; storage overflow is lost.
  • You can recall before extraction finishes, but an early recall forfeits the cargo.

Choose a field and a schedule

Open the World Map, select a green resource field and choose Send supply convoy. A field shows its resource and hourly yield. Choose 15, 30 or 60 minutes of extraction, then assign transport troops. Travel to the field and the return journey are added to that duration.

Transport is a strategic choice

Each unit has a carrying capacity. Your convoy brings home at most the smaller of its total carrying capacity and the field's output for your chosen extraction time. Infantry can carry cargo, while Scout Cars travel faster and carry more per unit. Mixed convoys travel at the speed of their slowest unit. Officer march-speed bonuses apply to combat and scouting, not supply convoys.

Boss victories develop your logistics

Five campaign milestones open permanent supply routes when their bounties are claimed in order. Minimum output at every resource field rises to 1,000 per hour after Iron Viper, 2,500 after Steel Jackal, 7,500 after Black Citadel, 30,000 after Ash Legion and 60,000 after Obsidian High Command. Iron Bastion and Storm Battery award material stockpiles between the last two logistics milestones. A stronger existing field keeps its higher output. The map shows the rate available to your commander. Your army's carrying capacity, extraction duration, march slots and storage still limit delivery. Each convoy keeps the rate and cargo calculated when it was dispatched; a later boss reward improves new convoys. Repeat boss wins do not repeat or stack these unlocks.

One army, three deployments

Supply convoys, scouts and attack marches share the same three active march slots. You can send one convoy per field at a time and four convoys per UTC day; a recalled convoy still counts. Assigned troops are unavailable for home defense, training is unaffected, and your shield stays active. Supply convoys have no combat casualties. Fields are renewable: different commanders collect independently.

Cargo is delivered on return

Extraction finishes before the return journey. Troops and cargo become available together after the convoy reaches home, including while you are offline. The supply log shows what was actually delivered. Keep storage space available: cargo beyond your resource cap is lost. You may recall before extraction finishes, but an early recall forfeits the cargo. The return retraces only the traveled distance; time spent gathering does not lengthen the return. Once the objective is due, recall is no longer available.

Balance safe income with the campaign

Use convoys to fund replacement troops and upgrades while preparing for NPC battles. Gathering does not count as a battle victory and does not grant rank points or War Bonds. Campaign and combat rewards remain separate, so choose which activity deserves each deployment slot.
