How to play Frontline Empire
Your mission is to turn a small outpost into a capable military base. Follow the eight Frontier Campaign orders, defeat NPC camps and build toward the rankings. Rival bases are an optional challenge.

1. Build a base that supports your army
Follow the welcome briefing. Upgrade Headquarters to unlock more structures and generate command funding: each completed HQ level produces 75 credits per hour before bonuses. Steel, oil, supplies and credits pay for expansion; producing resources stop accumulating at their storage limit. Upgrade your Warehouse or spend supplies on useful development before storage fills.
2. Keep construction, training and research moving
Use Construction for buildings, Military for recruitment and Research for lasting bonuses. Each job shows its cost and duration before you start. Timers continue while you are away, and finished jobs are processed by the game. You do not need to keep a browser tab open.
3. Follow the Frontier Campaign
Your base displays the next campaign order. Reach HQ 3, assemble 30 Infantry and complete a scouting expedition. Claim each order in Missions to unlock the next reward. Campaign progress has no daily deadline. Completed training counts permanently, even if troops are later deployed or lost.
4. Scout before your first battle
Use Choose your next operation on the World Map to find a level 1 camp. Send a scout and read the report. Level 1–2 NPC camps reveal exact defenders even without Radar; stronger camps and player bases use your Radar Station and Early Warning research. Assemble an army suited to the defenders and inspect the march forecast before dispatching.
5. Bring your army home
A march has an outward journey, a battle and a return journey. Survivors and loot become available when the march returns. Review Reports, replace casualties and claim your first-victory campaign reward. Later orders lead toward HQ 8 and 15 NPC victories.
6. Choose your own next challenge
Finish the permanent campaign, develop officers and research, or compete on the rankings. You do not need to attack players to finish the campaign. Once your shield expires, eligible rivals can raid your base; combat can cause permanent troop losses. Keep a garrison and develop defensive towers.
