Veteran Campaign: your path from HQ 8 to HQ 20
Securing the frontier opens a second campaign. Build a force that can sustain advanced NPC battles, complete military research and develop Headquarters to level 20. The ten veteran orders reward preparation and stronger opponents, with no daily deadline or requirement to attack players.

Unlock the second campaign
Claim all eight Frontier Campaign rewards in Missions. The base briefing then switches to the Veteran Campaign, and Missions opens the new chapter. Veteran objectives can accumulate before their order unlocks, but rewards must be claimed in sequence. Your first task is to bring home three supply convoys with actual cargo; empty or recalled deliveries do not count.
Stronger camps, meaningful victories
The combat orders require three victories against level 3 or higher camps, five against level 5 or higher, then three against level 8. On the World Map, use Choose your next operation and set Minimum camp level to find targets. A higher-level victory also counts toward lower-level thresholds. Defeats, scouting and victories against weaker camps do not qualify. The camp level is saved when the battle resolves; later map changes and report archiving do not change it. Earlier reports had no level snapshot, so qualifying victories begin with the Veteran Campaign release.
Build the force before the offensive
Complete Fireteam Tactics level 3 and later Armor Plating level 5. Training fifty Artillery contributes to the siege-corps order even if those units are later deployed or lost. Purchased reinforcements do not count as completed training. Mix troop types around the scouted enemy formation and review estimated losses before dispatch. HQ level unlocks development; it is not a guarantee of victory.
Finance HQ 12, 16 and 20
The development orders pass through Headquarters levels 12 and 16 before reaching level 20. Advance storage and resource production alongside HQ. Reserve income for replacing troops instead of sending every available resource into one upgrade. Supply convoys provide an alternative to fighting, but use the same deployment slots and temporarily remove their troops from your home garrison. An expired shield still allows eligible rivals to raid your base.
Permanent rewards, lasting completion
The Veteran Campaign grants materials and 450 War Bonds in total, in addition to the Frontier Campaign's 190. Each reward can be claimed once. Check storage space before claiming material rewards; the result shows what actually fits. Neither chapter expires, missed days do not reset progress, and no purchase is required for an order. Completing HQ 20 secures the chapter; research, officers, supply operations and rankings remain available afterward.
